To be clear, you don't get to pick and choose the bits of continuity you like and erase the bits you don't like. You don't get to say "Mythology is too confusing. We're going to erase it all and reboot. Except for this bit. And that bit. And whatever bit I like later, but I'm not telling you about now." That makes it more confusing, not less.

I'm leery of Rebirth because I know DC hasn't handled it properly in the past, and my faith in Geoff Johns has waned in recent years.
