I don't think the cops should have said that they "did nothing wrong" unless they were willing to issue a statement to that affect. But I can see how a cop with a big heart felt bad about some crying cheerleaders and tried to make them feel better. As it stands, we don't know for sure what's happened. It's an anonymous letter re: a team that competes nationally. This is one way to knock out the competition. We should reserve judgment until we know more. But I'm also concerned about the questioning (without lawyers?) and the searching of phones (without warrants?) It's all about being salacious right now. What's the truth? Wait and see.
