You can rent a wifi hot spot for about $7-10 per day and then use your own phone to connect to it. Also possibly look for a hotel that gives a cell

phone to use. I was just in Paris and the hotel had a free cell phone in every room to use (free data and world wide calling). It was called "handy" i think they money through ads on the phone
