Diva and I got on the train but there were not seats together so we had to sit single and across from one another. The lady on my right was probably in her late 30s but likely in her 40s. Petite, blonde chin length hair, professionally dressed, mousy by the looks and airs...she had her phone out and earbuds in. I happen to look over and saw she was listening to "Lincoln Park". Ok, I can see that. Another glance over, "Limp Bizkit"...interesting but Ok, I can see it I suppose. Then..."Rammstein", "DU HAST"...Ok, now I'm paying attention...
she shuffled through ever mid-90s frat boy song I think had ever existed. She moved onto gangsta rap.
By looking at her I would never have guessed. I would have pegged her as a Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLaughlin woman.
She was either listening to her kid's music or I had her totally wrong.
Not for nothing but after the musical revelation and a re-assess I picked up a Dominatrix vibe. She was probably listening to the music for work then...
