I'd chalk it up to a lessons learned for the future.

It'd be rough, but let's be honest here...there's 2 people in each of these relationships. They ain't asking, blaming him for not telling seems rather disingenous to me. If it's important enough to get pissed out, it's important enough to ask about; lest you fear the truth.
