That's kind of what I'm reading. Just wasn't sure then what the expectation would be.

I'm the first to jump on Trump, but it seems like he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't at this point.

I suppose the only alternative is to take action in a way that is diplomatic, but that is probably asking too much.
