That's an odd bump, you'd think people would have down-shifted spending to discount retailers in the face of economic crisis.

Unless they include stores like Target and Walmart in this category.

that was a few stationary stores getting a big boost in biz from all the other stores buying tape to put up GOING OUT OF BIZ sales -- nm

As I recall, places like Big Lots and Dollar Tree did see a noticeable bump in sales at that time. -- nm
