Especially if something significant happens.

Just day-to-day usual stuff it may be ok. I mean it will be terrible and dumb, but not tragic. But god forbid this Syria thing really escalates or there was another 9/11-type attack and the government really needed to spring into action I feel like there would be a handful of people just looking at each other.

Which is of course a byproduct of just appointing your buddies and supporters into positions they aren't remotely qualified for and then simply not bothering with the other positions.
