It doesn't. What happens is it slams your head against the chair at the start.

The sudden movement is too explosive. You can brace for it by driving your head against the headrest before movement begins.
It's a strange ride.

From that description, I was expecting one of the accelerator type starts but from watching a ride video, the head banging is from being tilted back
