It was great, it turned out to be great weather for walking around. I was aiming for Jefferson or Independence st but just off the 395 I found a -- (edited)

Parking lot that was usually 15 bucks but I guess it was free as well on weekends. From there it was maybe a 5 minute walk to the monument then all the way up to the Capital and over to the White House. Back down to the WW2 memorial and over to what I thought was the Lincoln memorial which I was wanting to see but turned out it was for Jefferson... We didn't want to go back so we just left at that point. Easy in and easy out and the whole area is beautiful, we both said we would live there... Not sure what the rest of the city is like though. We'll definitely be back cause a few hours isn't enough time.
