In response to "Mel, you know roughly 48 times more about boxing than I do, but I'm not sold on Crawford" by prayformojo

Have you seen the last few fights, just curious...

he's got a tremendous set of tools. He's the kind of guy trainers love because you can tell him to do something and he is able to do it. It's one thing to understand what is being asked and to work at it. It's another thing to have the instincts to pick up instruction (and the work ethnic to practice all of it in the gym).

He's as skilled as Lomachenko but I think smarter in addition to what I mention above. He's really really smart. Loma seems physically gifted and I wonder what will happen when he bumps up against a guy who can come close to matching that natural talent (*ahem* Crawford).

Plus, as I mentioned on B2 - He, Crawford, a little mean. I like that. He doesn't want to kill anyone but he definitely wants the other guy to never consider getting in the ring with him again.

Ultimately, I have to be careful. Pacquioa reignited my love of Boxing so I tend to look for the next version of him. Of anyone I've seen since, I think Crawford is it. The problem fighters have now, and it's a problem for the sport but boxers can avoid each other so we don't see the best vs. the best (I'm looking at you Canelo). Until they fix that, Boxing will be relegated to a secondary sport.
