A friend of mine strung together something like six consecutive trips, only paying for the first and getting bumped every other time.

He goes down to Florida quite often but as a teacher has flexibility in the summer so he is always first to raise his hand.

So he basically paid for the first flight and got bumped on the return. Got a voucher for the next flight. Got bumped on the way there or back and got another voucher.

Essentially got paid to go to Florida over and over, which to me is not a deal, but you get the idea.

Southwest picks the last person who has checked in for a flight first. This doesn't seem like it'd be to terribly hard to figure out. However... - Qale Apr 10, 20:24 1
