It takes me back to when she first teleported in our lives.

She couldn't go another day without a meal. I have no idea how she'd survived as long as she had. We weren't sure she'd ever get better. That was 13 years ago.
Tamara's the toughest animal I've ever known. She really might be the toughest *anything* I've known.
And my favorite part of her showing up at our door is that a dog could have blocked her way. Instead, that cantankerous little pup showed kindness, which wasn't really his skillset. He let her walk right up so that Kim could bring her inside.
Tamara *never* forgot that and sat with Billy whenever he was sick or lonely. It was truly beautiful to watch.
