I never believed for one second she was a great actress - maybe he was a great musician, they spent more time on him.
Whiplash - they drilled it home that he was an amazing drummer.
LaLa the relationship sparked, it *was* and then it sort of *wasn't* - maybe it was too subtle for me?
I loved the ending where you got to see what COULD have been - it was glorious to watch. really saved it for me.
