Hela comes to Asgard to take the Soul Gem. She gets it and that is how she is so powerful she stops/breaks Mjolnir.

Saw most of that and had already thought of it (did not see the power upgrade aspect).

What I did see that I had not thought of, is that Heimdall possesses the Soul Stone, which is how he is able to see all (souls). Could make sense as in Thor's dream (A:AoU) he was blind.
