aren't Kevin Durant.

In 2007, they took Durant at #2 overall.
In 2008, they took Westbrook at #4 overall.
In 2009, they took Harden at #3 overall.

Guys other teams chose ahead of them include: Michael Beasley, OJ Mayo, and Hakeem Thabeet.

Memphis might have wound up as the dominant force in the Western Conference if they'd taken Harden or Steph Curry instead of Thabeet.
