Man, the day after a con seems like the longest day ever (and it's only 9:30 in the morning!), and I've got a bit of the con crud...but it was worth

it!

Day 2 was pretty much all about The Flash. We started off the morning with the Grant Gustin/Tom Felton panel, and they were fantastic, though Grant didn't do himself any favors coming out in a Dodgers jersy (which he quickly took off when he was booed!). They were both really engaging and funny, and they clearly have a great time working together; they also both praised Tom Cavanagh (as an actor and person).

After the panel it was back to the convention center to get in line for the autograph, and this is where it got kind of frustrating; he was supposed to sign until his photo-ops, with the first group not starting until 1, but I guess they oversold because he went straight to the photo-ops. I took the opportunity to go see Riker and Data while we were waiting. At some point he came out to the autograph table, did maybe 20? and then it was right back to the photo-ops. So I went to check to see how long he'd be doing photo-ops, the volunteer saw my "Flash Pass" and told me we could get our photo-op down now (instead of waiting until our scheduled 1pm slot), so, I called everyone over, and we waited maybe 10 minutes in line before getting in for the photo; Grant was awesome, shook everyone's hand, big smile, and the photo came out really good. So, then it was back to the autograph line to wait; and there was much grumpiness now, because we must have waited two hours for him to wrap up with the photo-ops to come back to the autograph table. But then the line was moving and when we got up there he was like "it's the Flash family!" Again, very friendly, and seemed to really be enjoying himself.

So then it was time to head to the car for a quick bite to eat, and then we hit the convention floor for some quick shopping, before wrapping up the day with the Gina Torres panel. Again...Gina Torres...damn! Gorgeous, charming, funny, goofy, and that smile. Good Lord! She teared up a bit talking about how the Firefly cast just wouldn't be the same without Ron Glass, and talked about everything from her early days of acting, to Alias, and Suits. It was a very engaging hour, and really flew by. Not a bad way to wrap up a busy convention weekend, at all.
