I have Jeter as #2 all time. There are arguments for guys like Ripken, Appling or Ozzie but when you look at the numbers Jeter had a ridiculous career. Despite hitting like 100 less homers than Ripken he has a higher career slugging percentage. His batting average was higher than anyone in any top 10 list except Wagner. He had more career hits than any of them including Wagner. Jeter was amazing and is the second best SS of all time. Sorry, Cal.
