In response to "How Homeownership Became the Engine of American Inequality -- (link)" by znufrii, definitely not 40

I wonder if this is being turned on its head now.

As urban areas become gentrified and young whites move into the city to become renters, are we abandoning the poor, minorities, and disenfranchised? Are "flyover states" becoming "owner states" while the coasts become "renter states"?
