I watched it in the 90's and could feel how much of a unique vision it had to be in 1982, but I can't imagine my headspace if I had seen it then.

I know the Oscars that year were goofy with Chariots of Fire beating Reds, Raiders and On Golden Pond (plus Atlantic City), but how it doesn't get at least a nomination is beyond me.
