I... don't think that's how WMV files work. But I'm excited to experiment with that. Regardless, Landbeck...

...there's a couple of tools that might do the job (ASFTools and MPEGStreamclip) but they both might scream at you (missing codecs, etc.) If you can get the files to me (Google Drive, for instance), I can take care of it quickly.

Also, Ender is correct. Windows Movie Maker can still be had, even on Windows 10. If you can invest the time in learning a few things about the tool (namely, the timeline editor), you should be in good shape.
