a thermostat with a huge digital display.
The installer happened to be onsite and I asked how come they couldn't have put it somewhere less intrusive. Seems it was a case of not being able to run the wiring anywhere else (without considerable extra expense)
But.....by the time I went back there with my tour group he was installing a smaller less intrusive unit :)
I believe it also had to do with the earlier control needing to be manually switched from heat to cold which wouldn't have worked for us.
