I'd give it a B - on par with the first Captain America, which it shares some tone with. Gal fits the part as we knew, and Chris Pine does some pretty good work with a mostly thankless role. There's a mix of getting the look of the time right with some weirdly anachronistic notes. Danny Huston surprisingly tolerable but still scenery chewing. Elena Anaya hits a perfect comic tone in an odd role.

If you've ever wanted to see a cavalry archer vs WWI infantry battle with tactics, this is your movie.
