some objected to my form as "redundant" so it got nixed.

This week I got a panicked set of emails, "You know X Project is due on the 6th, right?"

*looks at existing forms*

"Where on the forms would I know that this was in the pipeline?"

- *silence* "ah, sometimes people don't fill them out."

"I see. Ok then..."
