I so wish you were closer so you could come to shows with me. I'd love to have someone to share the performance of Cabaret in October.

They're setting up the theater so it resembles a night club and seating people at tables rather than the regular theater seating. I've reserved a seat at a 2-top so will likely be sitting with a stranger. OTOH, it could be fun :)
