Calgary's kind of a tale of two cities

about half the city are transplants. They tend to be quite friendly as they've had to be the "New Person", while born and bred types are often very insular and hard to get to know, and resentful of the newcomers despite it being a symptom of why this is a successful city. That's not universal and we have many locals as friends, but they also tend to be people that went away for some time and came back.
