New Pokemon Go gym stuff (mostly for people that don't do gyms).

I think mandy is the only person here who is level 35+, making her the only person that can do raids. I can't add much about it. For most here, it would be one way to try and get something you don't have yet.

Things I think non-gym people will be interested in. There will be a circle in the bottom right when you click on a gym. Click that and you can spin the gym like a stop. I think there's a spot in the upper left that works as well. They usually give out fewer items, but you get 1-2 bonus items for your team controlling the gym and possibly for having something in the gym. You also get 63 exp instead of 50 for spinning the stop if you have something in the gym. I'm not sure about exp from spinning a gym controlled by a rival team or one controlled by your team that you don't have anything in. You also unlock a gym badge when you spin a gym. The more you interact with it, the better your rewards.

Feeding berries to a pokemon in a gym (must be your team, but doesn't need to be your pokemon) gives you 20 stardust and the possibility of a candy for that type of pokemon. I think it also gives 20 exp.

There's a chance that spinning a gym (or any other stop) for the first time (starting with the new update) will give you an exp bonus, but I'm not sure on that.

Gyms can hold 6 at a time. If you see a friendly gym with less that 6, feel free to put something in. When it is kicked out you will get 1 coin for every hour it has been in the gym. It must be kicked out by a rival team to earn the coins, it can't just return because nobody fed it berries. You are capped at 100 coins per day. Of course, this could be problematic if you are ocd over the number of coins you have (such as needing them to end in an even number or a zero). For best results it seems you want to put in something as close to 3000 CP as possible without going over.

Two bad things about gym stops. They don't work with Go+ (though I don't know if anyone here has one, I don't) and pokemon near them don't show up on sightings. Which is slightly annoying when you walk past a gym that used to be a stop and seeing a dratini.
