Yeah, I can really understand that.

Considering that I kept trying to take down a rival gym only to have people feed berries while I was battling so that they lost nothing when I won. Then starting a battle with only 2 nearly defeated pokemon left to beat, knocking one out, then needing to fight a third, then a fourth, leading to abandoning the battle to see the gym is full again. Made even worse by not being able to drop something in a friendly gym earlier because it was under attack.
