Dating in a rural area sucks!

We're technically a "metropolitan" area, but with under 60,000 people, the pool is shallow. Whenever I go to some large urbanized place, the dating apps light up. Heck, remember even Bacon could get some in Portland!

So the options are:
- loosen my search criteria, which doesn't appeal to me (oh you hate kids, have 6 cats, and voted for Trump... Well, ok)

- increase my search range, which doesn't really work since they usually don't respond to someone that far out geographically and certainly won't find you in their search results since they can get 10x as many results in a 5 mile radius than I can get in a 50 mile radius.
