I dare say we've been prepared for this event with our daughter based on what we've been doing with our son -- (edited)

and really come out the other side better. We've had multiple professionals legit comment that they're impressed with the open relationship we have with our son. When the psychologist runs out of his office, to catch us on the sidewalk as we go to our car after a session just to say he was impressed with how we've navigated things with our son, we have to feel we've done something right.
I just don't want to mess it up with daughter.
