Live performances rock. Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts" is great live and clocks in over 6 minutes. What makes it special is what the song *was*.

As a studio recording, it was bland and uninspired. It didn't chart very high as a single. Yet it's the song Depeche Mode chose to end their concert on, and the audience ate it up.
