I had one problem with Preacher. (spoilers)

Well, maybe a couple minor issues as well.
My problem, though, was with Jesse doing something stupid. He goes to see his friend who is an expert on all things God. He was just attacked by some incredibly deadly cowboy who had some crazy bullets. Shouldn't one of the first things he did was ask about that guy and how to stop him? I mean, try and figure out the big problem first, but at least try and get some help with the more immediate concern afterwards.
Even if Jesse is so arrogant (either from just being Jesse or from having Genesis) that he thinks it won't be a problem, at least give your friend some warning that someone really dangerous might be following you. There's even a chance he could give you tips on avoiding/beating him.
