I went to Nick's parent/teacher conference last night. The first part of the little summary report on him said:

"Student strengths: Funny, kind, higher-order critical reasoning and creative thinking, mathematics, confidence in academic abilities."

(The last one cracked me up--he is definitely not lacking in confidence.)
