According to 1920 census records, we were heavily clustered in New York state, by far more than any other state

Pretty sure my grandparents immigrated to NYC around that time.
278 Civil War (217 Union / 61 Confederacy). I figured we hadn't all yet moved out of Ireland in time to fight in the Civil War
