I read Brooklyn was the most expensive rental market in the U.S. and yet I still see nice apartments in nice neighborhoods around $1,600.

My gf and I look multiple times a week and we've seen a few that we could afford that are nice 1b apartments. If it didn't cost thousands to move we'd have moved months ago. It's not the rent that's keeping us back but the moving expenses.
