Update on Landbeck:

Tuesday Afternoon
Journal entry

From Jennilyn:
"Several people have told me they check this site multiple times a day to see if there are updates, so here you go: we had a family meeting, with all 3 of John's sisters, his parents, Roxie, Suzanna & Lindsey (on way to DC temple now) & Emma & Stewart on speaker phones. The dr team was helpful, showed us yesterday's CAT scan & explained the broken skull area on left side, talked about time line wanting to get breathing tube out soon-especially with him using lowest setting that gives a little push if oxygen every time he breathes. If they need to, he will get a tracheotomy to facilitate getting the tube out soon. And I know that sounds worse & not like an improvement, but they explained the positive step. We are being strict about only 2 visitors at once to keep john from too much stress, nurse Karen was there first day Friday, here today & strict about rules. If you do come, be healthy. There is an orange guest book on table for you to record impressions & thoughts. We are creating family history every day. The counsel to pace ourselves, take turns visiting, take advantage of the 24 hour care, go home & sleep. It will take time, potentially a long time. Sara & Lisa just came back from his room & saw eyes, 4 times! They asked him squeeze 1 times for Roxie, 2 times for sandy-mom, "or do you want Jenni?" & he kicked his legs & waved arms. Sweet! That's like a Valentine!"
