Saw a sweet restored '52 Chevy pickup outside the market and complimented the driver who'd been ahead of me in the checkout line.

He'd told the cashier he was 84 and sounded such a cheerful man.

His father bought the pickup for him new in 1952 and it's been in the family ever since. The current owner stored it while in the military and later when he had kids they delivered newspapers out of the back of it. Those kids are approaching retirement age now and you could tell he's so proud of them.

An amazing moment of family history in a store parking lot.....and the Chevy was really cute :)
