Baby steps. Her party isn't for it - she shored up her alliance given the other parties wanted a vote

that she even relented to a vote is progress that will invariably move Germany forward in terms of this socially.
It's not YAY! for her, but it's now legal there so yay for her in moving forward on the issue. Maybe she'll continue moving forward.
