That's really wonderful. I have a question along these lines, but it's controversial.

I'm not a fan of labels. I'm 100% of the belief that you fall in love with the person. You might tend toward one sex over the other, possibly even almost all the way, but I've known extremely gay people who fell for members of the opposite sex. Similarly, I've known people who think of themselves as 100% heterosexual who have huge same-sex crushes, whether they acknowledge them or not.

Given the above, I struggle with this woman's defining herself as lesbian. After four children, she sounds more like a bisexual woman currently in a lesbian relationship. It doesn't matter in the least, but I'm curious how other STers evaluate the situation.
