Some of my Doctor Who problems with this season (three episodes to go). spoilers

A lot has to do with sloppy writing. The whole YOU MUST GUARD THE VAULT THAT HOLDS MISSY AND NEVER LEAVE thing was jut horrible writing. The Doctor is a time traveler. He should/could have just always returned at his point of departure.

And yes, I think Missy is a terrible Master. So that just adds my resentment of earlier seasons to this one.

The blindness thing was just *dumb*. I am hopeful that it was for a longer term reason as in effing with his next regeneration, at least. (As I said, 3 episodes to go).

The stand alone episodes have been rather weak this season. Thin Ice, Knock Knock, Oxygen and Empress of Mars are the first ever episodes I know I will never sit through again. Pilot and Smile were exceptions.

Nardole is great. I like Bill. And Capaldi is a great actor. This is just more cases of them not being written well.
