Landbeck update!!

Dad has been moved to University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopedic Institute!

He had a really great day yesterday. Nodding correct responses to almost every question. Gesturing and sign language that he wanted to leave. He kept trying to "escape" the chair, climb out of bed. He had to be restrained and watched very closely.

At the rehab facility they will work with him on the next big step: eating/drinking and swallowing. He still has a nose feeding tube right now. Still want to avoid stomach feeding tube...

They will also work on the other steps he needs to accomplish. Will be a process that takes time and patience. Slow and steady recovery hopefully here we come!
