I liked it, but I don't think I liked it as much as most seemed to have. Spoils

I thought it was good fun. Got a little long, but overall fun. I wasn't wild about how they Avengerized it. I didn't love that they Iron Man'd his suit and had Tony Stark giving him all this new tech. Part of what I loved about Spidey was that he was also super-smart and could design stuff himself. By making him so young they took that a bit out of the equation. We got hints of it with his experiments, but not enough when Stark was outfitting him. Also, while I enjoyed the high school element of it, I think they made him too young. 15 is really a child and too young to be doing some of what he's doing and really for Stark to be bringing him into the Avengers (yes I know they sort of talked about that and it added to the Stark fatherly role, but I thought it was awkward). A 17 or 18 year old Spidey would have worked better. It was enjoyable, but I would put it in the mid-tier of avenger movies. I preferred the Toby Maguire Spidey movies (at least 1 and 2).
