TMZ has obtained audio recording relating to the alleged domestic incident at an airport involving Alberto El Patron and Paige, and it appears to depict an emotional argument between the two. A wrestling fan who was present for the incident recorded the argument and shared it with TMZ, saying she recorded it as evidence. You can listen below.
In the audio, El Patron and Paige appear to be arguing with El Patron saying something about “calling the cops…Let’s do it. Get the cops.” He appears to be speaking to Paige, who replies, “Just stay out of my life. Leave me the f**k alone. I’m trying to get away from you.”
Patron then says “I’m pressing charges against you” in a sort of sing-song tone and immediately follows up with “You are pressing charges against yourself.” Paige seems to walk away and Patron says “Let’s go. I’m following you.” When a fan implores him not to follow her, he says “You’re not gonna let her go. Call the police. She assaulted me. She needs to be arrested.” He says soon after that “We got into a fight at the restaurant.”
According to TMZ, witnesses say it was clear that the two were arguing and that Paige stormed off at the end. A police officer responded and spoke with Patron, who was not arrested.
law enforcement made no reference to the third party Paige has mentioned and said they were investigating as a domestic violence issue.
UPDATE 2: Paige has posted to Twitter commenting on the domestic violence investigation into Alberto El Patron’s alleged incident at Orlando International Airport on Sunday. The WWE star claimed that she and El Patron got the police involved after a woman got angry and threw a drink at Patron. According to Paige, she had just found out some bad news regarding her family and was upset when the woman tried to take a picture and things escalated from there.
