I'd say coming up together in NXT pretty much galvanized their relationship. -- (edited)

Yeah, Charlotte and Becky were there but the Bayley/Sasha feud built the women's division there. I know you hate it, but that match was seminal. In 10 years, there's going to be women signing with WWE who became wrestlers because of that match.
