Agreed. I will say the metric system is the better measurement system but our written dates are better.

I'm sure it has a lot to do with what we're used to but I can't stand it when the dates are written with the day of the month first.

Honestly, i never trust dates in the number only format here. We see both so often that something like 05/11/17 is meaningless without context. -- (edited)
