After going variable on our first mortgage in 2011 and getting .3 knocked off in two cuts, I'm glad we locked last fall. The variable offer was 2.19% and we locked for 2.35%.

Yeah, I've been reading credible analysis that suggested it was all pretty transparent beginning with a speech about a month ago.
