It is true. Berman had DS-9 meander about while JMS had the entire series plotted out ahead of time.

nah Berman had nothing to do really with DS9 that was all Ira Behr had a tight and focused show about people living on the front line...

Like always, you are forgetting to deduct points for Ferengis. With the exception of the Cardassians, the show suffered from it's alien races.

nah...they got both right. The Ferengi were rescued as a race on DS9...much better than the Centuari (who weren't Londo or Vir)
