heh, when I looked it up this morning, two of three first hit headlines had comparisons - delaware (u.s. something) and twice the size of luxembourg

I recently read a book from an australian author that was meant to be saying something from a us-american's perspective but gave an outback station size reference that totally wasn't what we'd say.
(this reminds me of a bb reference - I totally picked-up aussie lingo, as I have from other aus. authors in the past; same for various uk ones periodically. with the most recent, it made me ask my kitty charges if they were ready for brekkie every day. they apparently speak aussie, as they responded appropriately. ;) -)
