nearly all rides were being shut down due to lightning being spotted within 10 miles of Dollywood.

Skies were blue with only a few clouds - a gorgeous day.

I've never seen people so irrationally pissy in my life.

Everything was closed for an hour or so. I get why it wasn't convenient for folks, but better safe than sorry. If someone's kid had been struck by lightning on a roller coaster, you can bet Dollywood would be sued for not taking proper precautions.
