THey really need to increase their nomination pool to 8 to 10 per category.

tv as a medium isn't like movies -- all these outlets that are now producing shows are focused on prestige types of quality shows - so the depth is absurd.
Unlike movies where profit at the box office is key; so aiming for prestige is too costly if you bomb.
Add in Emmy's desire to repeat so many nominees (Edie Falco thanked her agent today out of habit), there's just not room for so many
